The Broccoli Report

Between state-specific regulations and enduring social stigmas, working in weed can be a little lonely sometimes. While some places offer more opportunities to connect with colleagues than others, the past two socially isolated years have impacted everyone, everywhere. Founders and freelancers alike are feeling more distant than ever from fellow weed entrepreneurs.
We’ve been looking for ways for Broccoli Report subscribers to connect with each other, so when a particular CBD chocolate company founder told me how bad he wanted to find a THC chocolate company to bring a dream product to life—we decided to celebrate Valentine’s Day by crafting a call for entrepreneurial personal ads. And BR readers delivered!
If you typically only see Monday newsletters, don’t worry—I did not hack your computer. Even though Fridays are only for paid subscribers, we opened up today’s dispatch so any and all interested eyes can access this Lonely Hearts board. If you enjoy this newsletter, consider signing up for reals as a paid subscriber. We rely on those subscriptions to keep the Report in motion.
Read on to (maybe) find your business soulmate.

A huge, Lauren-sized-bong-cloud of a thank you to the brands and creative freelancers that contributed to today’s newsletter, and here’s an encouraging nudge from me to any readers that see themselves in one or more of these postings. Reach out! You never know where a connection could lead.
Should partnerships arise from any of these ads, let me know! I would love to see what magic comes from this dispatch. Based on the enthusiasm from folks who weren’t quite ready to share what they needed but told me this idea inspired them to think about it, this won’t be our last opportunity for Report readers to connect with one another.
Reveling in our blossoming community,
Lauren Yoshiko
